The story of River Bend Construction is one of craftsmanship, perseverance, and family heritage. It all began in 1966 when Charles A. Piper established River Bend Farm in Roscoe, Illinois. Over the years, the land became a part of the community. In 1988, a portion of it was developed into River Bend Ridge, marking the family’s early steps into construction and development, laying the groundwork for future projects including roofing, siding, and remodeling opportunities.
In 2007, Charles’s grandson, Nic Piper, carried that legacy forward by founding River Bend Construction LLC in Fort Smith, Arkansas. What started as a small construction company quickly grew, earning a spot on the Inc. 5000 list in 2012, ranking #1 in Arkansas and #545 nationwide. With expansion into Wichita, KS, and Oklahoma City, OK, River Bend became known for its quality work and commitment to excellence in roofing and storm damage repairs.
Like many businesses, River Bend faced challenges. In 2017, after the loss of close family members, the company made the difficult decision to close.
But a strong foundation lasts, and in 2024, River Bend Construction re-opened in northern Illinois, returning to its roots with a renewed focus. Built on decades of experience and a dedication to quality craftsmanship, including expert gutters installation, River Bend is ready to serve homeowners and businesses once again.
From its beginnings as a family farm to a respected construction company, River Bend Construction continues its tradition of building with integrity, quality, and a commitment to the communities it serves.
